Diamond Twirlers

Our Coach Elaine & Club Director, has been involved in baton twirling since the age of 9 when she started twiling with 3c's Twirlers. She had alot of success there in Individual & team events until she began to teach Rainbow Twirlers at the young age of 15. She taught there until Rainbow closed in 2002. In Rainbow Twirlers Elaine had alot of success winning Top Team, High Points on numerous of occassions, overall productions also a few times for Dance Teams, M & M Corps and Twirling Corps in the UK and Ireland. Twirl & Strut Champs and Top Twirlers. Elaine guided young athlete's into teaching & judging.

She then went to teach Kilnamanagh Twirlers until 2005. The club also had alot of success with Elaine teaching the club winning Twirl, Dance & Strut Champions,  A Top Twirler, Overall production, runner up for Top Team in Ireland and the UK, high points also in Ireland and the UK. Elaine trained young athlete's into becoming teachers within the club and guided members into judging within IBTA.

Since 2006 Elaine has been teaching the new group Diamond Twirlers and this was since re-grouping Rainbow Twirlers. Diamond Twirlers have been really successful to date winning overall production in 2006 and 2008 for Senior Int/Adv Dance Team. Junior Top Twirler 2006 and Senior + Top Twirler 2006. Pre-teen Top Twirler 2007, Junior Top Twirler 2007 and Senior Top Twirler 2007. Top Team has not been a class ran since Diamond has started up as there is never enough teams entered so Elaine hopes get a chance to compete in this event soon.

Pamela is another coach/teacher within our club. She assists Elaine with the pee-wees and Juvenilles. She successfully passed her first IBTA Teachers exam in the Summer of 2007 and her second teachers exam in August 2009. Pamela still twirls within the club and was one of the original members of Rainbow Twirlers who enjoyed the success as an athlete that Elaine has mentioned above. She is still twirling today with the Juniors & Seniors.
